Bye, Bye Bali…I’ll miss you!! (English)
The last two days I spent in Bali, I visited the best beaches of the southern peninsula of the Island: Dreamland, Ulu Watu, Nusa Dua, Padang Padang and Bigin (it took me a while to find this village! Is a rocky cliff on the southern peninsula of Bali).
Of these, I prefer the last 3, since the other surfers are 100% and Dreamland with a cement building that puts goose bumps. Begin had a spectacular end of the ride. At 5 in the afternoon, delayed due to difficulty accessing it, and once he had finished a lunch Mie goreng (Indonesian style noodles), a woman insisted on more and more make me a massage for … 15 euros!. I mean I found it expensive!, But in the end I was left for 5 and I gave her the OK. So lay down, I strategically pulled towards experimenting last Sunset in Bali. I really relax myself o while enjoying my last sunset in Indonesia.
I forgot to tell you before all, good yard, I went back to try to surf! . On the beach in the town I was on, Seminyak. The truth is that those who do not learn to surf in Bali is because they do not want. That’s like a wave pool, one wave after another, with infinity of chances to practice. And that was the area for beginners. As you’re going from one to another, you have several different ones from size and difficulty.
Total: that Indonesia is a paradise for surfers, much more than I could live in Santa Cruz (California). However, once I made it clear that I am one of the worst surfers in our solar system or perhaps the cosmos in general. Maybe if I would try it seriously, I could get a decent level. Anyway…
Once the arrival night, a light dinner, a few spring rolls, and sleep.
At 4am I had to get up, because at 6am the plane was leaving to Kuala Lumpur, which would scale 4 hours to go to Hong Kong. But this was only in theory … Why? Because, again! There were problems with the plane. Technical problems with the plane that was supposed to leave to Hong Kong. So I was waiting 2 hours longer but at least I could go back “home”.
I must enumerate the various chaos I have had experienced during the last month and half: cancellation of the plane back from Laos, tropical storm that delayed the plane that had to replace the one I just mentioned, volcanic ash that cancel the return flight to Europe, tropical storm that delayed again the first flight toIndonesia: Hong Kong to Kuala Lumpur so that I can not connect with the plane that was going to Bali and I had to stay in the capital of Malaisia… Well, upon finishing the thing here, because again I am watching the news and I see that there are cancellations of flights at airports in Spain due to “return” of the volcanic ash. Do you really think that I have to come back? … Isn´t that a sign?
